I visited a few spin classes and wanted something I could use during the colder months when outdoor work impossible.
This is a great bike to take home. I've been using for about an hour a week and the product seems very well built. The minimum noise and handles routine package very well.
Handles and seats fit well and the resistance.
Only I have is that the resistance does not changemeasures accurate. This is just a notch. This makes it difficult to control.
After lengthy investigations and discussions we have on the operation and maintenance of a 7100, because it was too hard to be ready for us seniors. We were not sure that a high quality product, but ordered anyway. It 'came in less than a week. We have pieces from the box to make it easier in our games room - £ 100 was a heavy burden. My husband assembled in two hours - hard work, but compared to others I have heard, not extreme. After the installation has beenfirm smooth riding, comfortable backrest of a seat width, and a very positive surprise. Computer programs have been established easily and perfectly adequate. I do not know what you would need an exercise bike at home. I highly recommend it. J. Rowley
Used it a few times and really liked it, the combination of both bike and rower was just what I was looking for. However after about 3-4 uses the fabric strap for rower began to fray. I called for warranty service and Stamina said they would send me a replacement strap. That was 7 weeks ago and apparantly the strap is still on backorder. I’m still able to use the bike which works just fine but I don’t want to use the rower for fear the strap will actually break and possibly cause other problems. As of today I am rating it a 4 because I really like the unit itself, but if I don’t get the strap soon (and if it doesn’t solve the fraying problem) then that rating will easily go down to a 2.
I ‘ve had the Stamina Elite stationery bike a few weeks now, and for me it’s been very good. I wanted a bike with moveable handlebars and the Stamina provides this upper body exercise. The magnetic resistance to pedalling is smooth and quiet, and can be easily adjusted by turning a knob. A large electronic screen gives clear speed, distance, calorie, and pulse readings, making it easy to keep track of progress. The Amazon price on this model was 0 less than other on-line stores. Also, stationery bikes which provide handlebar movement are hard to find and usually much more expensive. As for assembly, It would be good to have a helper while doing it, (I didn’t have one and it took me about four hours.) But, all in I’m quite pleased with this bike.
In general - I used to have a less expensive rower that I wore out. This rower is much more solid but it slides on a carpet surface when working so that is annoying.
While working out - I have had the pedals lose their nut - it unscrews itself even though it has a washer. Doesn’t happen very often and can recover quickly.
